We’re seeking motivated, energetic, and ambitious individuals to join as a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant. No previous experience? No problem. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in the mortgage industry! Must be out-going, detail oriented, and with a high sense of urgency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist loan officers in originating and processing mortgage loans.
  • Manage loan officer pipelines, scheduling appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Gather and organize loan documents
  • Review loan disclosures prior to and with clients
  • Get initial information about income, assets and credit with prospective clients
  • Schedule appointments for loan officers to meet with prospective clients.
  • Collect and review loan application documents from clients. Learn the lingo, documents and requirements.
  • Aid clients in completing their loan application.
  • Ensure all loan application documents are complete and accurate.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and partners on the status of loan applications.
  • Act as a partner to our clients throughout the loan process.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with referral partners and clients.
  • Generally, assist the loan officer in maintaining and growing their business by completing the tasks needed to let them focus on driving sales.

Qualifications:

  • Either an active NMLS MLO license OR MUST be able to pass the NMLS Exam on the first try to be considered and obtain a NMLS MLO License
  • A competitive drive
  • 4 years of professional work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year of professional work experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual/Spanish-speaking is a PLUS!
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Exhibit strong work ethic
  • Organized with an attention to detail
  • Demonstrate superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
Note, this position is not remote. You must be able to work full-time at our office in Melbourne, FL. We will not consider prospective employees who are not already relocated to our area.
